1 – “Garden of Lights”, November 25-December 23; December 26-30, 5:00 to 9:00 pm, Green Bay Botanical Gardens, Green Bay, WI

For the 20th year, experience the magic of WPS Garden of Lights, encompassed by more than 250,000 twinkling lights, and create extraordinary holiday memories with your family and friends at the Garden this winter. You’ll discover a spectacular array of botanical-themed light displays, featuring an enchanted icicle forest, glistening flowers, a dazzling 60-foot walk-through caterpillar and so much more. The show is topped off with the area’s tallest and brightest shining tree. Enjoy this stunning winter landscape by foot or take a horse-drawn wagon ride.

2 – “Global Fat Tire Day” Bike Ride, Saturday, Dec 3, 12:00 to 7:00 pm,  Point Beach, Two Rivers, WI

Join us for Global Fat Bike Day 2016 at Point Beach State Park! We will be meeting at Port Sandy Bay Pizza this year. Right down the road from the Hummingbird Retreat. We moved the start location due to the growth of the event. The plan is to ride Rawley Point Trail to Neshota beach starting at 12:30pm and get a game of Derby in and take a group photo. Following the first ride, we will return to Port Sandy Bay for pizza and beer. The second night ride will start earlier this year so for those who want to stick around it will start at 5:00pm. Camping and cabins will be available for the weekend. Demo fat bikes available.


3 – Roller Life Docuentary, Appleton Premiere, Friday, Dec 2, 7:00 pm, UW Fox Valley Communications Arts Center, Appleton, WI

At a time when inspiration is hard to find and fresh off its world premiere last month in Milwaukee, “Roller Life” comes to the Fox Cities area for one show only on Dec 2nd. The film covers America’s fastest growing sport, flat track roller derby. Explore the challenges these women face playing a physical sport in a male dominated society. In the film, we feature Milwaukee’s Brewcity Bruisers Roller Girls season on and off the track in our feature length documentary. Feel the adversity these athletes face to balance the physical demands of the sport, a career and their personal life.

4 – Sil Restaurant Grand Opening, Tuesday, Nov 29th, 4:00 to 6:00 pm, 154 N. Broadway, Green Bay, WI

SIL Restaurant will be Celebrating our Grand Opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30. We will have an open house from 4-6 which will offer appetizers and wine tasting. Check out Green Bay’s newest addition to the historic On Broadway district.


5 – KRUZ Concert – “4 On The Floor”, Friday, Dec 2, 8:30 to 11:00 pm, Lyric Room, Green Bay, WI
