Every week, we highlight 5 interesting events, activities, initiatives, or unique happenings around the Greater Green Bay community (in no particular order). Things to do in Green Bay this week:

1 – Yoga In The Park – Thursday nights, starting July 7, 6:00 pm, Voyager Park, DePere

Summer is a great time to be active and outdoors in our community and one of my favorite events that combines fitness, the outdoors, and community cause is “Yoga In The Park”. This FREE 1 hour class is hosted by Ms. Ryanne Cunningham of Flow Yoga Studios, who was recently recognized for her work teaching yoga to the Green Bay Packers. These 1 hour classes are great for anyone who simply wanted to try yoga for the first time or for the well established yogi who is looking to continue improving their flexibility and fitness. If you are a runner, golfer, martial artist, biker, football player, soccer player, or pretty much any active athlete, yoga is a great addition to your cross training.

Also, this free class helps contribute to our area food pantries by collecting canned food donations each week and giving them to Ben’s Wish. So not only making our community healthier and more active, but also supporting our area food pantries one downward dog at a time. So join us for a great outdoor event and stay bendy!

We’ll wrap it all up with a concert from REPLICA.
